Rainy Days and Mondays...

NEVER get me down.
It has been drizzling all day and I love it! I've been drinking Postum (I ran out of yerba mate!).
Speaking of mate, I order mine from San Francisco Herb Company. Looks like I need to place another order. Their mate is the best because it doesn't have twigs and junk in it. They have great, cheap teas and spices in bulk. Check 'em out.
I really don't know where this blog is going. It's pretty stream of consciousness right now. Just wanted to say somethin'.
I've been reading all day and trying to write.
That's all.

aha...we seem to be on the same wavelength again..:) i started my blog about 2 years ago...then got busy with life and hadn't been messing with it. so i've revamped things and picked it up again. so maybe i'll just put a link for you on my page. :P this seems like maybe a better way to chat (we can read what's going on and it saves on question time. :P ) i miss you, there's been so much going on in the last year...and it's not over yet.

thanks for the note about the mate - we get ours from a brasilian store nearby, but it just doesn't taste that fresh. it's pretty much for the husband, 'cause i hate tea with a passion - but i can handle the postum (cevada) in limited quantities. ;)

it's really good mate. i've found that the stuff they sell in latin stores is generally very powdery and stale. this stuff is very green and fresh.

awesome, my husband will be really excited when he gets back 'cause i'm sure he'll be addicted again once he gets back from his mom (southern brazil thing, you know). what exactly do you order from them, just the mate?

i order their herbal teas, sometimes spices. the tricky thing is that the minimum order is $30, so it's best to go in with someone. or you could stock up and buy like 10 bags of mate.

Hope I'm not interupting your convo but I love rainy days too. I think it is the seattle blood.

Mondays I can do without.

Don't know anything about mate or post. My mouth hates hot drinks but I'll tell Scott.

believe me, you're not missing with the mate. ;) i have never tasted anything so bitter in my life. though i hear you can make it with sugar added...but i'm still not a fan. i'm sure it's sacreligous to my mother in law that i can't stand it...whatev...haha
